Houston is on the front line of COVID-19, and defending against its spread is a top priority. Our medical and public-health professionals are working together to tackle this novel pathogen, learn from it, overcome it, and prevent new outbreaks in Houston and around the world.

We are deeply appreciative of the outpouring of support and offers of assistance to our caregivers, who are focused on the pandemic and who face challenging and at a times overwhelming logistical burdens.

But we need more help to:

Build resilience and alleviate stresses faced by front-line health care providers through emergency assistance with meals and snacks

Provide workforce with items, such as: hotel rooms, laundry services and ride share / taxi services

Enable immediate response to specific needs resulting from COVID-19

A Note on PPE and In-Kind Product Donations

Baylor College of Medicine also seeks in-kind donations of products to protect our front-line providers and the patients they care for. Our need for personal protective equipment evolves on a daily basis as our hospitals and clinics respond to the crisis.

All donations must be unused, unopened and non-perishable as they will need to be reviewed to meet infection control approval standards. For your safety and the safety of our health care staff, we cannot accept any in-person drop-offs at any of our emergency rooms, testing sites, or clinics. If you are interested in making an in-kind donation, please contact our Incident Command Center at coronavirusinfo@BCM.EDU You will be contacted if your offer meets the needs of our efforts.

Donate today to support this critical work.
